We are looking to try camping out on the ice while we still can and thinking that having some sort of flooring setup is going to be nice. Being able to take off the boots and not have to worry about soaking my socks n such.
Where have you guys found interlocking foam matts? Or if you have tried other products, what works well?

I have found them at Costco and Canadian Tire.
-
I got mine from home depot. $15 for 6 i believe. They are awesome, and well worth it. I've never had one stick or melt because of heater.
-
I bought mine from Wal-Mart, think they were $15 a pack. I'd take something for your feet though...it can be hard to keep the matts dry.

i used Shock Athletic Microban Rolled Foam Mat, 4-ft x 8-ft from canadian tire. pay more but no seams. worked great in our 6 by 12 pop up. do a sleep over every march.

I bought a bunch at CT a while back for a great price.
They have some really good sales on them from time to time

Bought ours at SamsClub years ago. At the time about $20 for 8. Here's the link for them now. They are black on one side.

If you are planning a sleep over, I would suggest something like this:
