« on: Jan 17, 2024, 11:41 AM »
Hey everyone. I used to go the bait shop in Webster before they closed down. Does anyone know of another bait shop in that area? I know bobs does not do shiners anymore either. Thanks everyone

Rt 20 near brimfield line used to be a hardware store that sold bait last year, idk if anything is in stock.

Don't forget about pet shops for worms and meal worms etc, even fat head minnows for jigging.

I just went to PetCo for my waxies and meals. Good product in good containers.

It is probably illegal to use pet shop shiners for bait since they have not been certified. Probably not much chance of getting caught. I thought about using them, but they are usually too tiny.

Certified by the state as disease-free and safe for bait in public waters. You may recall that a dealer went to jail a few years ago for selling uncertified bait.
