After breakfast at the Daily Grind in Adams this morning, I went ice fishing at Fish Pond (Windsor Lake) in Noerth Adams.
The wather was cloudy with temps in the upper 30's.
Arriving a little before 10 AM, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were generally about 5 inches of (admittedly poor quality gray) ice in most spots, although the ice got thinner and slushier closer to the Camp Beach.
After about an hour, I was joined by Mogli and his girlfriend Tiffany.
A few other guys were also out there over the course of the day, but not many.
Overall, the fishing was slow - - although we did catch fish.
All together, we landed a few mid-sized (13" to 14') largemouth bass (on tip ups), a few sun fish (all while jigging) and a few perch (one on a tip up and the rest on jigs).

Certainly not the worst day, did you at least get to eat something good on the ice?

Great job getting out and a good report.

Given my big breakfast before heading out, I did not bring my "chuck wagon" - - so all I had to snack on was some homemade trail mix, freeze-dried silwork pupae (a gag gift from my older daughter), an apple and a small bottle of homemade red wine.
