Was wondering on others thoughts on the Aqua Vu, underwater cameras. Go or no go?

You may want to try the c-fish...for $199 with 360 degree viewing you can't go wrong.

Uw cams are an essential tool for hardwater. I.d.ing bottom composition, fish species and culling better fish. Just a toy for some; i rely on it as much as sonar...

Got an Aqua Vu Micro 5 w/DVR on its way ...my older Aqua Vu DT was just to heavy for scouting ..but was fun when it was set up in my 6800 ...the Micro should be a great scouting tool .

Aqua Vu micro is what I'm thinking for running and gunning panfish(crappie, perch). I already use a Marcum LX-5 and wouldn't jig without it! I like the idea of the micro's size and compactness.

i love it. i found some good structure to fish. found an old hockey net with green weeds growing on it and around it. perch were stacked up on it. also found a log on the bottom with some good bass on it. the bass came up and bit the camera. it was night time and the lights were on. the bass saw the lights and ate it.
had it for a few years now. the first time i used it. i was watching perch schools over rocks inhale my jigs.
it also atracts fish to. you drop it to bottom and it kicks up bottom and all its little bugs the fish feed on.

i need a new one. mine broke. the thing that you wrap the cord around broke. its plastic, so that cracked and broke. i broke the metal peace that holds the spool of wire into place. then it was raining out one day and the camera got wet :'(
