You can hit Stan's in Binghamton or Wayner's in Chenango Bridge.

How's the ice holding up at LP and Balsam?  I'm itching to try out my new 40v auger :)

I was on Balsam pond on Thursday morning. 7” of ice. Slow bite but what nice way to kick off the season. Perch and pickerel mostly. Beautiful little lake, good access.

Down the road from me, on the edge of the Chenango River, past the steel deck bridge, how's that ;)

I had an interesting conversation with Wayner the other day and we were talking about how the regs have changed over the years for baitfish and crayfish.  He was saying it's getting harder and harder to stay in the bait business.  I hope we never lose Wayner's as a baitshop and hope the kid takes it over down the road too.

X's 2. Hope he's around a long time. It's a 25 mile round trip for me just to go there for bait but it's the closest bait shop to me.
