Nilan Reservoir

Has anyone fished Nilan through the ice in the last couple of years? I was thinking of trying it again this year and was just checking. Thanks in advance for any help.

I fished Nilan a couple of times last year, it was slow both times but got a few smaller fish threw the ice.  Fished off of the boat ramp.

I have fished it frequently year round for the last 25 years and it’s usually great. Go a couple hundred yards to the left of the boat launch towords the point. Fish a chartruse 3beaded lead jig tipped with maggots. Let’s it down 4 wide arm lengths of line below the ice to start. I may go tomorrow
