Not ice fishing related but never got a response

Is fort peck any good fishing from shore or do u need a boat my fish finder the site is dead all summer so I never got an answer

I"'ve fished from shore in September and caught a lot of pike and catfish with the occasional bass and walleye.  In May I fished in a boat and talked with some shore fisherman that had stringers of nice pike and catfish.  The pike in the spring were caught on suckers and the catfish on cut bait.

We fished the shore of hell creek some years ago and caught mostly walleye, smallmouth, catfish, and some other species, mostly on live minnows
I believe it was June when I was there. Never got any real big fish but caught lots

for off shore fishing I recommend McGuire and Nelson creeks. good access and good fishing
