Where in Montana close to Helana and Great Falls can you go large mouth bass fishing

When it is frozen spring meadow out side of Helena has largemouth bass
It has springs in it(go figure) so ice can be very un safe
I was fishing open water last week

Upsata Lake on Highway 200 past Ovando has decent largemouth fishing along with pike and perch. It's only about an hour and a half from Helena.

Yes. Bass are catch and release on upsata. Just an fyi.
