Take a look at the webcam & you'll see plenty of water. It's been pouring rain for about 24 hours now.

That's bad news Spitz! Might not be worth the drive from Whitehall in the morning huh?

I drove by it last night on my way home from work and it looked like 2 or 3 inches of top water. But it has rained off and on most of the day here in philipsburg so probably worse now.

If Comers looks bad to you, maybe try one of the more secluded bays. They may have been a bit more protected from the horrible winds we've had the past few days. Philipsburg Bay, Piney or Stuart Mill. Heck, Denton's may even be worth a try as long as you don't venture out to far. Good luck & keep us posted.

My boy was up there yesterday too. He said the same thing - good ice, beautiful day, fishing was good, but catching was slow.

There was people all over the place when I went by this afternoon on my way to Philipsburg. Ice will be good for a while yet. Supposedly temps are gonna be dropping come Sunday night into next week, so that will be in our favor. Go for it, you'll be fine !!
