Guys, curious as to ice conditions through the year on Ft. Peck, mainly Hell Creek area. I know safe ice usually doesn't come till January, then sticks around till when? On average, what kind of ice thickness may one see @ the peak? I have a couple friends that want to come up, but they want to bring their crank down shacks. They are able to be pulled by ATV, but still need some ice. I know there are tons of variables, just looking for a ballpark to see if it is doable with the big shacks. Thanks!
