I知 going to start trying to fish at night for crappy, burbot, catfish and anything else that feeds at night really. Does anybody already do this or would like to? I will be planning to camp all night on the ice for burbot soon if anybody is interested

I知 game. Gotta head out for work this week and then headed on my trip to the bash at flaming gorge. Hopefully we see another good freeze and I値l be camping out as much as possible. Good luck out there.
-
I知 still on upper twin now. Kind of a trial run but I値l be leaving soon.

Any pike bites?
-
No. A handful of perch, 4 bluegill and 1 catfish.
-
I have night fished for crappie, had good success Never camped all night.
-
We were trying for crappy but the only structures on upper twin that I know of to hold them are waaaay on the other side of the lake. If you guys are willing to share some crappy lakes/ spots I would really appreciate it.
-
Lower Twin is better than upper twin. Try using a light and fishing at night.
-
I'd be interested in doing an all nighter for burbot.
-
I would be very interested in some all night ice camping! I知 gonna try to camp on cocolalla this weekend I知 sure the fishing will be slow but lately for me perch bite dies at daylight so hoping if I知 set up ready real early maybe I can catch more than fifteen perch a day.

I have to check with the wife but I might go overnight tomorrow or Thursday night on bead lake for burbot. Or I might stay on a lake a little closer to home for the first overnight. Just in case something doesn稚 work out. Bead would be about 3/4 mile hike pulling a sled in the snow uphill if something were to go wrong.
-
The main thing is to keep the truck handy because you are going to want to sleep in it for part of the night.
-
So i stayed Wednesday night on bead by myself. Had a few bites but no fish landed. It was a good first overnight experience. I took some mountain house meals and an ipad so i was eating warm food and watching movies until i fell asleep on my cot. when the burbot bite picks up i would like to go again.

Anyone have better luck for bigger browns on cocolalla at night? Either ice or open water. Thinking of an overnighter out there.

I would be open to an overnighter (not Bead however) anyone think of Jewel it has Channel Cats.
