I am sure that i have posted this before but these are the elk from the last two years.

Bloodcicles are the best. We shot her and drug her out in one day and then went for a ride on the 4wheels to take a brake and this is what we cam back to.

Good pic`s Pok.  In all of the years that I have spent in outdoor Wyoming I have only seen one Marten.  They are a feisty little critter that can climb and ran allot faster than you would think by looking at them.
I have seen a number of them, they are voracious predators. I once killed a grouse with my bow, and while I was standing there cleaning it, a pine martin ran right up my feet and grabbed a wing. I also once saw one running with a squirrel in its mouth.  And last year while retrieving my buddies dead elk, there was one perched on top (of the elk) going to town. Cool animals.

They are really cool. The closest I was able to get was about 5 feet. You'd move toward him and he'd go up the tree a ways, then get curious and come back down and stare at you for a minute...then go back up...too bad there weren't any elk. Saw some deer and moose on our walk but no elk!

Great lookin elk IcedBush!
