Thanks Sydney. Very little pressure through the ice and limited pressure inn the summer makes it a nice little slice of fisherman's heaven.

Ahab thanks for the info. I should be headed that way sometime this week.

I think I have a general idea of where that is but I would be tight lipped as well :) I have been gettin a few good browns out of the same looking area. Could be a completely different spot but I would feel kinda safe guessing... There is nothing like hunting big browns they are by far my most favorite fish! Gorgeous fish man congrats  :flex: you da man

I have been reading that some people are interested in a good quality fish taxidermist with reasonable prices.  If anyone is interested in replicas I will be able to help you out.  PM me to discuss further.

Replicas are the way to go now days for sure! They look as good or better than skin mounts and you can release fish and let them grow even bigger and allow more people to catch big fish, even little kids possibly... its one of the best things for fishing in my eyes

Replicas are great. I catch  and release about 98% of the fish I catch (even the big ones.) I was told I would be doing a favor by keeping a few of the bigger browns out of this place to help the population. This fish was extremely old and the teeth that he did have left were soft. I try to be a conservationist as well as a hunter/fisherman.

I have caught several fish i wanted to mount but have not pulled the trigger on one, I have always said he needs to be 30" for a trout first and I have got a few 27-29 but have not got the darn 30 Im lookin for... hopefully spring break this next week will get him haha
