Errr, board must be closed. Just got a 14" yellow perch 1.71 pounds. Can't enter it , said board was closed. Definetly a slob. Was pouring rain, ice was looking pretty bad, big holes from water running down. Some holes were 3-4' wide, SCARY.  :o :o :'( :'(
Board is down while lonewolf updates...  Nice tiger trout midwesterners..

Give us a break Murshrat  there i no way you caught that laker on that little pond ypu are standing on.

That laker has been dead for awhile and there isn't  even one hole drilled in that ice  behind you.

I am almost 100% positive that Laker was caught somewhere in New York  while open water fishing

you continue to prove yourself

Nice laker fishermanjay.

I'd enter my first (which you beat by a few inches anyway) but I'm missing a hole picture in the shack.  Pays to read the fine print....

Good job on all the other fish - hopefully with the warm weather south of here I can play catch up!

Where in the heck do you think I'm going to go in NY to catch a lake trout stream fishing and How do you expect me to do it after school? The pond is right behind my house and yes I did catch it there it was still flopping when I took the pic. Its a Private pond that is stocked with a spring flowing into it. If you don't remember from last year I caught a big rainbow out of there.

You contine to prove your self accusing someone with no proof what so ever and there are holes drilled in the pond

PS I would use spell check if I were you

Glad I was not the only one to take a second look. FISHY!

Did some young guys post open water craps a few years ago too?

Another note, I would not go into constrcution with some of the guys using the rulers, everything would be a 1 off too long?
No doors or windows would open or close?

I'm not going to jump the gun either, but that fish looks rather large for that little pug hole. Let alone, with no visable holes, or ice fishing gear. I don't know about any of you guys, but I don't go out fishing with no jig rod, tip ups, or even warm clothing. Also, look at the fins on that fish. But hey, what do I know.

If a laker lived in a pond that small, it would be a lot skinnier.  It would get too warm for it in the summer and it would not be able to eat fast enough to keep up with it's metabolism (spring or no spring).  Next time Marsh, have the person take a picture of you kneeling down on the ice so you can't see the back ground and throw some icefishing clothes on and some icegear in the background!

Chickenfoot,

Nice gill but it will be DQed.  No cloth rulers.  Get back out there again and get another one.

I think that British columbia's brook trout entry is atually a splake, not a brook trout...  nice fish though, just should be in the anything category.. the tail is forked, and the lips and gil plate are not bleached white like brokies have!! :-\

I am not sure if this person is from BC, screen name is british columbia, brookies don't have forked tails.. that is why they are called SQUARE TAILS..   SPlake do... cross between brookie and lake trout.
