Hi folks! Would love to see everyone use this. I would love to see everyones personal best fish for the ice fishing season (2012/2013).

Please allow me to introduce "Starvin Marvin" to all the IS folks.Although Marv measured out at 43" he had been dieting for quite some time based on his serious lack of girth

Couldn't have been more than 15#

It's no wonder he nailed the sumo Herring on the tip up

I was wondering how most people measure their fish? I have seen CO take a tape and measure over top of the fish. 2 years ago I had 2 fish taken away at chalet because the CO measured it this way. I fought the tickets and won because the pictures they took showed them measuring it like that. You must lay the tape on the even ground along side of the fish to get an accurate measurement. I couldn't wait until court to fight that one!! I just wanted to add that I am 6ft and if you measured over top of me I would be at least 8ft.

I have only been out twice. Kids have been sick, Christmas, yada yada yada! My whole family is dying to go. I bought a new 9416 Fatfish and a double sunflower heater. I am trying and the posted pics give me even more incentive to get out!

Looks like we are in the same boat, kids sick, me sick, Christmas, blah, blah, blah. I did get out once but nothing to write home about. One 19" greenback on the red. Got a pic but it is not worthy of your topic

Nice fish! How did it taste? lol I've noticed alot of us icefishermen and ladies are wearing camo on the ice. I've been doing it for years for the fact that they are wind and waterproof. All 4 of my family are decked out in the camo when ice fishing.
