picked up a few walleye at the west side but it is really tough to get around now you cant see any of the drifts as they are covered up

Has anyone tried to get out on the ice.  Was rather a task with the snow.  Is there any walley over off the reed point west of cherry point
looks like a good day for fishing on sat

Fairly good path to shacks straight out from shore on the west side, but heavy going otherwise. Can't move around much without 4WD ... don't forget the tow straps if you're planning to go out. In four hours of fishing this afternoon caught one 13.5" walleye and had one other bite / miss. Ice is 26" - 27".

I was at Cherry Point on Saturday and Sunday. No problem getting on the ice but after that it's real dicey. Pretty much need a 4x4 to get around, I saw a couple of 4x4's have a little trouble. Lots of snow drifts ALL over the place,I caught one Pike and lost two on Saturday and caught two Pike's and lost two on Sunday.

Anyone make it out this weekend?  I was stuck working so I didn't get a chance.  Can you still make it out with a 4x4?

You can get on but its tough going if you get off the trail you likely will need a shovel

I was a Cherry Point today, I was able to get 50 feet from my shack then stopped before getting stuck. It's getting worse all the time. I fished all day and never got a bite.
