thanks, going to stop at dick's sporting and pick up acouple this week and give them a shot for lakers. was out by a couple hardside shacks the other day, and when i stopped in to see how they were doing, they were watching a half dozen lakers swimming around there bucktails and swedish pimples on the camera. the fish didn't seem interested at all. i had a bunch of follows on the flasher where i was 20 yards away, using jigging rapala and airplane jig so, i figure i'll try throwing a soar at them this week. don't think many people here in n.h. use them, so, might be the the way to put 'em on the ice.

I have had success with a plain mepps Agila #0 jiggin for perch. Bounced it off the bottom a few times and on a short retrive they would hit it on the way up.

not sure if this counts, but at times ive done well on the small jigs with a small blade or two that dangles from behind the head of the jig... usually was hit on the drop when the blades were fluttering
'Its either me or ice fishing' she says... i still have my jiffy

Walleye's like the Vibe. I found the key to using them is to keep em moving. Short quick pumps seem to trigger strikes.
Some men fish real hard but only "real men" fish hardwater!
