« on: Nov 30, 2014, 11:26 AM »
how did eagle lake fair from last winter I was just wondering if there was lots of winter kill or if it wasn't to bad.  Cause it didn't look very promising the last time I was there in February of this year.

We were catching perch over summer. They were smaller on average than in previous years. I think the walleyes are gone. I never heard of one coming out of the lake this summer. Last year we could catch them off the dock every evening.

From what I've heard this year there is no bite at all, usually early season is hot for perch but not this year, not sure what's going on, it's a small body of water and there was allot of flow out the East end this spring which would have allowed plenty of fish to escape into Melfort Creek.
