I once had to help a guy cut a bigger hole. He was fishing for crappie, cutting 3 1/2-inch holes, when he hooked a big one. I had my chisel with me so I started chopping. It was nerve-wracking; I was sure I would cut through his line. I didn't, and he got a state pin, just missing a gold one.
