Stabilicers on pac boots
« on: Nov 05, 2021, 03:01 PM »
Anyone use STABILicers over pac boots? My son and I have Cabela's Transalaska pac boots. Last year we put our Yaktrax XTR's on and had great traction. But the rubber is stretched so far that they are cracking and will most likely break this year. I love the traction of the XTR's. But I am looking at STABILicers since they use nylon web straps instead of rubber. I'm just wondering if they would fit over my oversized pac boots. Anyone have any experience with them?

They fit my size 12 pac boots.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I have the XL Stabilicers over my size 14 Baffin Titans. Snug fit but they went on.
Maybe someday I'll think of something clever to write here...but I doubt it.

I had to trim the sides of the heels on my pac boots to get the stabilicers to fit properly.  It didn’t bother me because those boots are dedicated to ice fishing.

Those Transalaskans are some hefty packs ! I’d order the stabilicers from a company with a good return policy if they don’t fit right. Second choice would be for a different brand of creepers. Good luck!

So in my search of the world wide web I came across these Stabilicer's that I've never seen before. I like the crampon ad-on to the bottom of the soles. These have better traction than the screws alone. I just wish I could find somewhere local to see if they would fit over my boot.

I have used the stabilizers on my size 12 Mickey's. They fit great, no problems.
