The Winnipeg Wigglers

I was watching On The Road Again with Wayne Rostad and next week he will be airing a program about a group of angler from the Winnipeg area.
They call themselves The Winnipeg Wigglers and they are an all lady fishing club.
His show is on Thursdays at 7:00pm on CBC television. 8)

I was wondering if any of the ladies here on the Manitoba Ice shanty are members of this group. If not I bet they would be a great group of angler to contact, I think it would be neat if they became a part of the ice shanty group, they defiantly enjoy the great sport of fishing.

OMG LMAO. 

My mom was one of the founding members of that club. It's not so much a club as a bunch of women who rent a bus for a day and have a little private fishing tourney. She no longer goes but my sister still does.

I think it's been happening for something like 40 years in a row now and there is even a long waiting list to get in.
