pike fish cakes question

How many of you remove the y-bone before going in the Cuisinart any info is great heard from people that I totally cuts them up. And how long do you let It chop the filets thanks all. :)

I've never made the fish cake's myself! My fishing buddy does though. He told me that he poach's the fillet's first. Which, I imagine, would make it easier to separate the meat from the bone's. Then he mix's in some Panko bread crumb's and an egg so the whole work's will bind together. Hope this help's you some, eh? ;DDIRTBALL2 ;)2

I have been using the 5 fillet method......it bypasses the y bones

I am going to cheat and post a u-tube of another fellow demonstrating.
