Arctic temps on the ice

All i can say is BRRRRRR!!!!!



fishin as for the most part, shall we'll say frozen!! Fish sticks anyone  ???



All in all it turned out out be a great day on the ice, just a little cold  @)







this fish set the home made jacker off but i had to hook it old school, i think i need to shorten my leaders





ever seen heat coming out of a tent like this? At noon? And that aint no spiccolli van. lol

muskyon46, you have me beat at -26, the coldest i have fished at that pond is -22. That has got to be one of the coldest places to to ice fish. Even colder when the wind picks up. Looks fun,  hopefully the hot springs treated you well after the fishing.

That would feel just like home! Haha. The coldest I have fished in was about -45, and we did actually catch fish. It wasn't much fun though.

Some nice fish there Musky. It was a balmy -3 at Mantua this morning, warmed up to 8 by noon.

Thanks guys, it was a cold one. We actually hit -27 but after taking the pic of -26 we didnt think it could get any colder  :o your right liv2hunt we have had some super cold days up there over the years. My mom has been telling me that it has been -10 in lava so i figured the lake would be even colder. No soaking in the hot pots this trip, but soon

Oh ya they are popular ;D really hard to tell somebody to look for the QF3 when they are meeting you out on the ice  :roflmao: :roflmao: :woot:
