Title: Last local trip

Hit silver this evening. Probably the last day there I think. Didn't fish it a ton this season but when I did the majority was small lakers. Went out today with my son and a few buddies. Beautiful evening on the ice and ended with a fish that will make me want to fish it again next season. Nothing big but bigger than the avg. As of late for that lake.

Sounds like a nice evening Vin. Good to see there’s still ice on the last spot it seems to freeze. Saw a couple walk from 41 there pushing a huge sled this winter, they were hardcore!

Awesome evening is right. Sounds like a great last trip for your location. Well done with the laker.
Your right, What a beauty of a sunset last night. We watched it go down over the lake in Tshirts.

Thanks everyone!.....We have a trip to Pittsburg for next weekend to close out the season. Going tomorrow to winni to poke around and see if we can get on anywhere. Hopefully we can find some safe ice.

You should find plenty. Winni Friday I had 18" still in the coves, and 12-14 still out in the open. I'm sure the rain helped open up a few more holes since though.

Found 8-10 inches and a good shoreline today we got 6 Lakers between the 4 of us. My buddy also jigged up a nice cusk.
