Post by: Bob G. on Mar 09, 2022, 08:28 PM
Anyone fished around Sandbar lately? Temps and weather is getting sketchy later next week. Thanks for any info.

Drove by this morning on my way to fish north of there and it was a ghost town.

I went across the bridge around noon and there was about 20 guys fishing the south side and lots of guys to the north and east of the Sandbar but not many fishing close. I think they park in the lot and drive their wheelers 1-2 miles north.

Anyone been by there .  I know it gets sketchy this time of the year but also the fishing can be good.  Hoping to get out 1 more time tomorrow.

I crossed the bridge yesterday and there were guys fishing on both sides. The edges looked sketchy!

How does it look to get on the ice will we need a long plank?
Love to get one more try Saturday.

K.  Thanks I will probably give it a go tomorrow.  The edges don’t worry me there with it being so shallow.  Worse case I’ll wear my duck waders.  If I go through it will only be in 3 feet of water at the most.
