Clear water fishing
« on: Jan 23, 2004, 06:32 PM »
Ok all I need some helpful tips please. My buddy and me fish this lake in the summer and catch bass all the time the water is real clear. We have also caught some real nice crappies and we have a crib located in about 13 feet. Here is the problem when we ice fish this spot you can see 10 feet down see alot of fish on our vexilars but can never get them to bite. We really want to ice fish this lake just have not figured a pattern out yet. Any advice you could give me would be much apprieciated. Thanks

i was on a clear lake today

use yellow hot  pink white have always done well for me along with blue and purple

as far as them seeing you see what happens when the ice get some snow cover and a cludy day the might bite better then

or move deeper there are more fish than on that crib
