The kids slayed em (pic heavy)
« on: Jan 17, 2011, 10:51 AM »
Went out to Muddy Pond in Damariscotta yesterday with the family. It was a beautiful day, a little bit of wind so I set up the shack and cooked up some hot dogs. We were the only ones on the entire pond and it was steady action the whole time we were there. There were times when we had 4 or 5 flags at a time. The kids had an awesome time and even got some points for the kid tourney.

Setting traps

A little brotherly love

The whole fam

Some perch

Do you think he likes to fish, check out that smile

And a bass

I was even able to jig up a largemouth

Woodswise-

Nice pics. It looks like a time to remeber. Cheerish these times they grow up fast. and the smiles ;D like that are hard to come by when they get older mine will be 21  :'( at the end of the month. I still can shame into to spending the day with the old man but the cell phone is always ringing and he at this point in his life has more important things to do than to go fishing.

Great Pic's W.W. That's a fun age.
it truely is a fun age, kind of don't want them to grow anymore for a little while. It works well since this place is 5 minutes from home. There is always plenty of action and our friends have a small camp we can use if we want. I go out set up the portable and drill the holes and then the wife and kids come out when I am done and set the traps. That way all the time out there is devoted to fishing. When they are ready to go then they leave and I stay and (fish) I mean pick up and head home.
