Does anyone have an ice auger machine? How is it and how fast does it go?

Some smaller lakes can be tough to access with a atv or side by side, especially ones that don’t have a boat launch. I like the idea that I can carry it out on the ice.

I got one... depending on your weight and what you are towing 7-9 mph... it’ll go through snow up to 10” with chains and the ski option... haters say get a snowmobile but here in southern mi ice won’t allow soooo.... I got a predator... too old to walk... I love mine... pulls me (265lbs) my Otter Cabin, and my brother (230lbs) in a otter sled  no problem... I use the Jiffy Propane auger...
Good luck...!

Thank you- I have a jiffy propane also. I was interested because sometimes I like to fish lakes with no boat launch  or real public access, and this thing can be lifted and carried. If you can get a snowmobile on the ice then that is obviously a better option but if you can’t, the based on what you said this is definitely a good thing to have.
