I recently proposed to my girl friend while out on an ice fishing trip. I put the ring on a tip up and had my buddy trip the flag. She was told she got the next fish so she was excited and jumped up for the flag. When she got there she explained how it was straight down and nothing was there until I reached down and acted like there was a nice fish on and brought the ring up. Well anyways she said yes. I guess she is a keeper. 

Just wanted to throw this out there.

Well im gonna miss her when i get home. cuz right now im on that lake shore and sitting in the sun. im sure itll hit me when i walk thru that door tonight. well im gonna miss her o lookie there i got a FLAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGG!!!!!!!! ye haaa

Ya my buddies were giving me hell about a big pike eating the ring. That would have sucked bc it is my grandmothers ring. I put a brand new steel leader on and hoped for the best. Would have been cool to catch a monster and still got the ring lol
