East River spots

Hey guys,

My old man lives near Huron, and I'll be heading up that way for a few days in Mid Feb.  What are some good spots for Eyes and Pike?  What are some good jigs/baits for em up in that area.  I hear Lake Byron (sp?) is not bad.  Will be there either the weekend of Presidents day or the weekend before.

Byron, maybe the James River.  Or you could head east to Thompson.  If you go to Thompson, cruise into the town of Lake Preston and check in with the bait shop there.  They'll send you in the right direction.
