Fort Tompson anyone?

I heard you can catch some nice crappies at fort thompson. Does anyone have info about the area ice conditions, walleye bite or a crappie bite?

A friend of mine was there 2 weekends ago, said it took 3 hours to get his limit of eyes. Nothing huge but some nice eaters.
