Looking for perch
« on: Jan 22, 2018, 12:47 PM »
I have never caught a perch through the ice since moving to Saskatoon about a decade ago. Anyone willing to share a spot or lake not too far from Saskatoon that I could try for some? Even Blackstrap has not given me any luck. Any tips would be awesome, TIA.

buffalo pound, never caught less than 17 perch there in an outing, from a sample size of about 10 different outings. most caught was 100+ in 4 hours.  i dont even keep any there on purpose, all catch and release other than just keep the ones that cant go back, because you catch so many there's usually a few that just don't make it.
