Title: Dakins Lake?

Has anyone been out to Dakins Lake in Zearing or heard what the ice thickness is?
I have never fished it and was thinking about giving it a try. Any advice would be appreciated!

I drove up last weekend from an hour south and was very disappointed to see open water and no one on the ice.

I stopped there on Monday the 31st, ice was not good. I checked a few spots with spud bar and drove away.

not sure after the small cold snap we just had

Anyone in the area have an Ice report for Dakin - shorter drive and fun little lake

I am also curious on this spot. I try to get there each year.  Last two times I drove past this lake, there was not safe ice, but it has been a while.

Still not safe... checked it this morning!3 inches off the bank in the north east corner. all of the trees look like they were in open water a couple days ago.

Swung by there last Saturday. I few guys out and reported 2-4' ice. Shaky...
