Ice Conditions on Redlake

New to the site, lots of good info.  Has anyone been out on Relake or Lake of the Woods recently. I am wondering how the ice condition is.

Was up to LOW yesterday. South of Long Point. Ice thickness 15-16 inches, top half is frozen slush with better ice below. Not much snow left on the ice. We set up in 10 ft, due to the waters poor clarity. Caught fish on and off thru the day, no saugers in that shallow but the 3 of us got our limit of 12 walleyes 15-16 inches. Used deadsticks with a fathead and a glow demon jig and pimples with a shinner to pound the bottom.
Not the usual feeding frenzy for this time of year but a good time was shared by old friends. Looking to go back up on Wed.

B/f this heat wave I heard they were driving out, but I haven't heard anything since.  Sorry!   :-\

Always wear clean underwear, cuz ya never know when the paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off.
