I spent the afternoon on lake Minnetonka, the ice was pretty thick (12” – 16”) and a few cars and light trucks were driving on it (Gray’s Bay).  The fishing seemed to be pretty slow at least for me, but it was a nice sunny day and I did catch enough small perch and bluegill to keep my head looking down the hole!

fished bald eagle last night 14inches of ice couple of crappies
If there was no ice I would shake the dice and see if my portable sled worked as a boat

On saturday I spent the evening on BeeBe.  Just one flag and the tranxmitter on the pager system did not send signal.  My cousin had the fish on but it slipped the hook at the hole.  18in of ice.

today was wiconia,  a few sunnies and at evening about 8 good crappie.  most were smaller.  about 16 to 18 in of ice.
