Lynn,
Give the Lord credit for the great day. I'll take the credit for finding the perch (ha). A 100+ perch, 7 pickerel, some small gills and large shiners, was a good day. Thursday or fri weather looks good. I'll be in touch.

Nice bunch of perch preacherman! Glad you're off the disabled list & back in action. After last nights rain I don't know how conditions are going to be. I fished a lake in Bradford Co. monday & it was a sterling day. The ice was snow covered in the AM & about 12 inches & when I left at 7 PM it was only about 8 inches & covered with water. I did get a limit of gills but it took all day. Had to sift through a lot of little ones.

Hit the JACKPOT tonite!! Haven't had a nite like this in quite awhile!! But the Lord sure blessed me today!! I've never caught so many Bullgills 9" & over!! Plus a few crappies!! And to top it off I just became a Grandpa for the first time, so I have to show off my new grandaughter!!

First off, congrats on the bundle of joy!!! Secondly, nice fish!! I heard that you are unable to make it up tomorrow. If the crappie lake doesn't get ice back, i would be glad to join you for some of the hot bluegill action. My mom and dad used to have a cottage on that lake back in the 80's, so it would be nice to fish there. I have never ice fished that lake. Talk to you soon. Danny

I'll keep an eye on the weather and the ice! I know we probably won't have too many more times out! My other favorite lake is already gone! (Ice is too thin) Is the weekends the only time you can get out?

yep thats a keeper, so are the fish.Nice catch those gills are some dandies. You always have that nice clear black ice in your pics.The lakes around me have about 5 inches clear 5 inches white and after tomorrow 12 inches of snow on top again!!!! keep the pictures up

Decided to try it again tonite! It just started raining when I got out at 3 and about 3:30 they started to turn on and then it was non-stop til 6pm. First time this year I caught my limit and it sure felt good! Kept 48 but I caught well over 50!! I don't know if I'll be able to get out again because it was pretty hard trying to get out on the ice. The edges were really getting bad!! The Lord sure blessed me again tonite!!

Went out with my good friends Seaweed & Bassman 211! Had to work for them but managed to end up with 25 perch & 1 Sunfish! Seaweed ended up with 14! He says, that I always have somebody on my side & you know what he's right!!

It sure was a beautiful day! Hopefully we'll be able to get out a few more times!

Went out today for a few hours. Didn't catch a lot but the ones that were caught were dandies!! Here's a picture of a couple! Did manage to catch enough for a meal!!
