I've marked 3 trips chasing tigers myself this year.
I'm batting 2 for 3 right now. Small ones. The 2 fish caught and 2 big hit and spits that I've gotten have all happened between 1 and 3 in the afternoon.
The one time I woke up really early was the only skunk. I'm sleeping in the next time I go chasing them. Lol

The lake I fish for them the magic time is 10:30- 11:30. Idk what is but I don't ask questions. I just prepare for it. My friend sets up at 10:45, flag before 11 lol. Way to go on landing some fish in three outings! We have been struggling with the zero iced after four opportunities have been presented. No action today, looks like Friday I'll be back out. I have logged 41 hours on the ice so far, I feel pretty lucky considering the weather.

Surprised that perch has made it this long in there. Must be one smart fish! But of course I'm fine with those elusive monsters picking off the dinks so I can catch big perch while I wait for the top of the food chain to show up!

Two lost at the hole when they did a huge head shake and headed deep, one wrapped me up around a log like they always do shallow, and I didn't give a big fish enough time to turn the big bait around in its mouth. I ended up pulling it away from its face instead of setting the hook. Headed out bright and early to get back at it.

that's funny it's amazing different trends and patterns in targeting skis. Last winter I spent roughly 100 hours with nothing to show beside one lost fish at the hole
The year before I went 6-9 in 5 days with a some good fish in the mix. 10-2 with noon being the best time for me but several fish have come early and late
