Me, Ozzy, Upstate and Jay got up to Piseco for some laker action, although they were some small one's and no keepers we did ice about 25-30 fish, really dark but cool looking fish, no surgery required ;). About 15" of ice, pretty solid and good shorlines.

Robb

Upstate setting up in the 2" of water

Ozzy setting up

Ozzy with a nice dark one

Upstate with a monster!

Ozzy again, man he was killing them!!

Robb's big one!!

Robb's tip-up fish

It was cold wet and nasty but always a good time!! ;D

Nice pics bud.. When I was younger and worked for the state at the Piseco Camp Grounds that lake produced a ton of legal lakers... its a shame to see the fishery doing so poorly... lots of fish yes, but most of them are small like the ones you caught...

Ozzy that darker colored laker is awsome never saw them that dark..

again nice job guys!

Cool looking fish!  I had hoped to get to Lake George to try for my first ice laker, but it does not look good for LG ice...

What a day yesterday!! Made it out for a great "Scouting" trip with a bunch of shanty members 14 of us in all :o. The weather was a little cold (-4) when we started out with the train across the lake about 5-6 miles but it was worth the trip ;D. Over 20 fish were caught and they were really dark Adirondack beauties. Great scenery great food and company what more could you ask for ;)2 and even some fish.

Here are some pics.

Scenery

Ozzy on the ice

Iceenut0 with Ozzy backing him up

Iceenut0 with a nice one

A few I caught

We made it back!!

The only thing I missed a pic of was the Bald Eagle that flew over us in the parking lot :'(.

As always it was nice to meet some new members. Can't wait to do it all again ;D.

Got up into the Adk's for another laker trip during the snow storm, wasn't the greatest fishing or weather but it still was fun with Ozzy his dad, Patrick, and Dr. Juice!! Had one spool my tip-up and break my Flouro leader :'( , and missed a lot more jigging. Maybe the KING this week ;).

This one spooled my tip up

Let them all go for next time.

great pictures, looking like you made something out of the snow storm on Saturday.  ;D WTG

There was a group of people that tried to icefish at moffit's beach Sat. and ended up staying in one of the pavilions over night at were gone early in the morning. BBBBRRRR, they must have been popsicles.  ;D

 WTG on some nice ADK lakers.
