Made it out again 1/19, 8a-1p, C&R dozen perch and a few LMB. The wind  >:( started up about noon, then the snow as I was picking up, BBBBRRRR.  :P Still bets work,  ;) this is out the shanty door.  ;D

Every time I would get my coffee perk'n, poured, and poptarts out,  catch another fish a back to home way from home.  ;D
Here is a camofish double special on one tipup.   :D

Not a bad day at all, until the wind showed up.  :-\ Oh well, another great day on the ice, back to the main grind/work for the weekend.  :(

Had it out on the King today, wow  :o the wind was blowing 30-40mph. Only fished from 930a-1130a and scored 4 with 2 around 18" and a 25", 26".

here is the 26" again.  ;D

And my buddy scored 3 with all around 21"-22".  ;D

The high winds had it to be a short trip, but NAD42 thanks alot for the info. Wish you were there, but don't know if I'd go back out in that wind, well, yea I would for some tight lines.  ;)

Awesome lakers.  Jigging or tipups?  Looks like another typical brutal day on George.  30mph winds are considered calm, just lookout for the big gusts that move men and shanties far and fast.
Ahh, my first icefishing memory, my dad and his buddies bring me up to Hen and Chicken Island for Salmon... Blizzard, the sled went flying, with me,(6 years old) in it...Good Times!!! ;D

Jigging with 1/2 icicles, over 69 FOW, hitting them anywhere from 10'-30' off bottom.  ;D
First time ever jigged up lakers, and man, I'm hooked.  :D

Made it out on the king with BigRed, and we hammered the lakers today in high double digits.  :o We fished from 730a-1245p and the bite was hot from 830a till 1230p.  ;D Awesome, awesome day, best day on the ice ever.
Here are a few of the ones I got.

BigRed was a few of him with some nice ones too, they were all fatty, very aggressive fish today.

They were averaging around 18"-20" with BigRed and I with 3 each over 23" and only keeping 2 total.  :D
We didn't have time for pictures, cause we couldn't even get out jigs down to bottom before the dinner bell would sound. There was one point when I yanked 5 or 7 out of the hole in less than 5 mins.  :o yea, hard to believe, but this is no fish tale.  ;)
Fish On!
