Raquettedacker's pictures...2010/2011

First time out this season...   Sunday 12/19/10...   Very cold, no wind so it was bearable with out the shanty...
Set up a few tip ups to start and only had one flag with a nice perch on it..



It started getting dark so we pulled the tip ups and started hole hopping with the flashers..




Caught a lot of small ones but were able to get a few keepers for the freezer...

12/26/10...Sunday, day after Christmas...   Dean and I had to get out...   We tryed a different place than the week before..  It was only 16* with a slite north wind...
We got there around 2pm and all the trees were frosty so we got the old Clam set up...



We went out and set up some tip ups wich was a wast...  Got two pickerels on them...




So before it got dark we pulled the tip ups and fired up the lantern and got in the shanty and proceded to catch these... ;D ;D




Than just like clock work the flashers started getting all these red marks on them 5 feet down in 8 feet of water... ;D ;D ;D



We wound up with 32 keeper crappies and a few nice perch and sun fish mixed in....




It was 7* with a very strong wind when we packed up at 8pm...  Very cold...   But fun.. ;D ;D

1/1/11  52* at 1:00  getting ready to leave and it starts raining a little..  Get to the lake and ice looks good except there is 1/2 inch of water on it.  Fished till 6:30 and never had to put gloves on... ;D






We wound up with around 26 crappies, gills/pumpkin seeds and one nice perch...

At one point I get a big red mark just 3 feet under the ice so i reel up and BAM.. ;D
