Here is mine, I built last year cause it gets really cold here in Moosonee. We fish the Moose River, running to the James Bay.
My little hut is designed very light, so I can pull with a small snowmobile, pretty much anywhere I want (I always tow to and from home with my snowmobile - every use - weighs about 300lbs). The wood stove keeps it nice and toasty - nothing like looking out at the James Bay in a t-shirt while the wind blows outside at -40C/F.

I built this house a few years ago. It's a little heavy but I am able to pull it with my 4 wheeler and it stays in one loaction all winter.

So here is mine. We built it out of an old pop up camper and it measures 7' x 14'. We have a 3 burner cook stove and it also has a set of bunkbeds at one end. We call it the "HILLBILLY HOTEL".

It couldn't be a Vermont shack if it wasn't wrapped in Tyvek!

This past fall we replaced the roof with some real metal roofing and got it trimmed out and ready for siding but work always seems to get in the way of the important stuff so it will be tyvek for one more season. Next winter it will be sided with white pine. I have a portable mill and were gonna mill out 1/4" pine and do  board and batten siding.

Here is my 8x24 ice house that i am almost done with. I will be adding the hole covers this weekend along with sat dish and lp heater. Cant wait for hard water to get here. What do you think of my house so far? I have a trailer to haul it out and drop down with, and dont have to worry about it ending up on the bottom!

Just a question, really like the shack but whats your plan with it being so far off the ice? As far as getting the fish up?

That snowmobile is awesome!! I never thought of that. Might have to find an old sled to convert!

Not so much a hut, but figure it might inspire people and their creativity. Here is my ultra portable windbreak sled:

Quote- fishslap: I use a variety:  whistlin' bungholes, spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' kitty chaser
