Has anyone had any luck fishing for Rainbows in Allan Bill Pond?
I see it is stocked fairly well each year. Looking for a place with easy access and close to Calgary, and this is one.

Thanks :'(

It gets hit HARD by the meat fishers during the summer.  There usually isn't much left if there has been anytime gone by since the last stocking.  If your looking for that type of fishing head down to chain lakes south of Calgary.  Its about an hours drive from Calgary but it'll keep you busy.  Lots of stocked rainbows there...but be careful as they stocked bulls in there a couple years ago and you can't keep them.  Good luck.

If your fishing chain lakes try about 30 to 40 meters off the rocks on the southern end of the lake straight off of the corner where the lake begins to turn in to the canal of the spillway. 4 to 5 feet off of the bottom with worm or velveta cheese.
good luck
