The ice was around 1 foot thick near the Harbor Haus.

Where do you access the ice from? The DNR launch site or somewhere else?

There are several public places to access the ice. A lot of people park near the 10th Street dock, which is a quick access spot. It’s a long hike down to and back up from the marina, so I wouldn’t recommend there. The best area to fish seems to be across near the Hunter’s Point shoreline.
