Ya we got perch in there n got a few but all the pike would just swim n look nothing would hit at all are ya fishing by the boat launch or around the bend by the outhouse

I think there will be the next state record pulled out of there.  It doesn't ever produce triple digits in numbers (for me at least) but they are big

Put in a days work yesterday 8-5 on arod with no pike no flags no nothing didn't even see one on camera I don't think I'm gonna make that run again 3rd time of going with no fish

Arod is a tough lake there are some big fich in there but I think a lot of food so they don't bite well
i tried to warn you!  It is a tough lake but there is big fish in there they just are hard.

Salmon lake in the Clearwater chain has good ice, but tough fishing. It has not been consistent in a few years now. You can jig for perch or trout while watching your tip ups but you would have a tough day especially with new people. I would suggest going to Upsata. Full of perch and small pike and it's a little closer to Helena than Salmon.

Yeah same story here drilled 30 + holes some southern some northern end I have a camera also and didn't manage to catch a glimpse of even one fish of any species. Still more lake to cover but I can tell you where their not. Good ice though.

Ya I'm thinking pishkun split rock or Frances I like the 6 pole deal so my group can cover some water n still fish perch to pass time think we should have a group of us meet at Frances one day think it would be fun
