Fished from 11-5-ish and left with 8 nice perch.  At least 12 inches of good ice. A lot of people out but things were pretty slow.

Anyone know if the ice is still up at Francis? Or did it all blow away? Conditions? Thickness?

Trying to find a safe place to go this weekend. Thanks.

My dad was up in Valier this last weekend and he said he couldn't believe how much ice wasn't on francis so Id say a trip somewheres else is probably your best bet

I would not recommend Francis at all. Lots of open spots and pinky and quickly varying thickness. Best thing that could happen would be to totally melt and re freeze in my opinion.

My lifelong quest is to find out if a 20 lb. walleye will fit through a ten inch hole.

I'm guessing that this weekend is still going to hold unfavorable ice for Francis... Any word otherwise?

Warm temps and high gusts of winds is not good for ice sake
