Heading up to Bailey/Fresno zone this weekend to pike fish. Looking cold by the end of the weekend. Will report back with what I see up there on Monday.

Bailey will freeze first, always does.  It'll have a few inches while Beaver Creek is wide open. 

Looking at the forecast, you might be good the weekend before thanksgiving.

I wonder why this is? Size? It's certainly not location as they are only about 40 miles apart.

Looking at the weather forecast for Malta... shows it is going to be good and cold this week! Hunting season is almost over... now time to get out on the ice! When does Nelson usually ice over?

We had drive-able ice by the middle of December last year.  I heard of walk-able ice the first week of December.  Hope we get some cold weather soon to finish out hunting season good and get a good start on ice fishing.
