Well played. I'm sure Ponder will start but I'm sure they'll all be in at some point...

No ice on Nelson or Fresno.  I checked both on my way home yesterday.

Heading up to Bailey/Fresno zone this weekend to pike fish. Looking cold by the end of the weekend. Will report back with what I see up there on Monday.

Bailey will freeze first, always does.  It'll have a few inches while Beaver Creek is wide open.

Looking at the forecast, you might be good the weekend before thanksgiving.

With the arctic front coming this weekend I'm hoping that Georgetown Lake will be fishing by Thanksgiving.

I wonder why this is? Size? It's certainly not location as they are only about 40 miles apart.

Looking at the weather forecast for Malta... shows it is going to be good and cold this week! Hunting season is almost over... now time to get out on the ice! When does Nelson usually ice over?

We had drive-able ice by the middle of December last year.  I heard of walk-able ice the first week of December.  Hope we get some cold weather soon to finish out hunting season good and get a good start on ice fishing.

Starting Wednesday through Saturday, single digit nights, below freezing days, calm winds, little to no snow...........May be just what we need to get Georgetown capped and start making some ice.  ;D :icefish: :woot:

I heard today that Bailey's traditionally freezes pretty early. I am thinking about taking a trip to check it out. Will give an update if I make it up there. I also want to check out Arod
