Anybody been on swan lately?

I'm just wondering if anyone has fished swan recently and if there's good enough ice on the south end by the refuge area? I want to fish it but don't want do drive all the way out there just to be disappointed. Thanks

Also what's a good access on the south end to get on the ice on foot?

This morning there was 2 guys salmon fishing along the highway, and there were 2 on the south end.  It looked like they walked from the boat launch.  The only way I know to get closer is to know a property owner along the bay or take a machine.  Watch out for the air holes on the south end!
