Hooked up with Ronco Kang and Waterlike to play in the cold. An interesting day on the ice for sure. Got in about 5 miles of hiking along with 4 species. Some craps a perch several cats and a buttload of short eyes.

Nice! Looks like easy travel on the ice at least. Was dragging my blazer thru snow and slush yesterday, f that. Windy?? Looks cold.

It was damn cold early with that 15 mph breeze. After 11am it was fine. Took me some finagling to get Rons cat thru a 6" hole.

Im very jelly of that nice ice.

My lakes get some seriously deep and safe ice, but its almost ALWAYS covered in 1-2 feet of snow.

I get pretty in-shape in winter lol

Fun day. Got 3 crappie and a limit of cats. Also let alot go. Caught my two biggest fish on a jigging jaw Jacker with a live minnow. A carp and a channel cat

I tried to keep the jigging jaw Jacker out of sight of Slayer to avoid his ire.

Its weird how the cats moved in last week, the last few weeks its been all about crappie, walleye with a few perch. Last weekend and on wednesday was mostly cat fish. They are a fun fight, even the kiddos were catching them with a float bobber and buck shot spoon tipped.

that lake is weird fish they keep moving, you caught a bunch today,next couple day nothing at the same spo,, so spot is don’t matter keep moving until you find them

Meet us there Sunday and we can’t drill 300 holes to find fish.
The first holes I drilled, Hiep caught 20 plus keeper crappies by 10 a.m. Over 60 fish by the end of two days. Dumb freaking luck I guess.

yeah i think we need more luck,,1st time cause 12 keeper walleye, 2nd time 1 keeper eye,, 3th 10 eye 20 crappie 20 cat,
