St Albans Bay

I went out on St Albans Bay yesterday after school. I only went out maybe 100 yds but I was on 4-5 in. of ice. Caught a bunch of perch. I wouldn't go too close to the bridge yet.
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable,
a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

I went out on the bay on Friday. Got 2 doz. decent perch. I went out maybe 200 yds and was still out over 5 in. of ice. Its froze out as far as you can see from the park. I'll be out Monday if its a snowday from school. Any word on Lappans bay?
If the ice never melted I'd never leave.
