Saw this news.  Looks like an increase in the torque specs for the M18 Hammer/Drill unit and improved battery capacity.  Will be interested to see how these new batteries go and what that means for us that use them with our augers.

Reading about the 2904, looks like it has auto-stop if the drill binds.  That will be especially useful for us drill auger guys.  I've had mine bind a few times over the years and I can definitely see how they could break a wrist.  May have to upgrade my 2704 if I catch the right sale.
